Abd Halim Bin Mohd
Founder
Abd Halim graduated from University of Malaya with Bachelor of Law (Hons) Degree in 1983. He was enrolled as an Advocate & and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 17 March 1984 after reading in chambers of Dato’ Haji Mohamed Ismail bin Mohamed Shariff at Messrs. Zain & Co. He then established the Firm on 1 December 1984 and he continues to be in active practice for more than 38 years. He specializes in civil and banking litigation (both conventional and Islamic), land and corporate matters.
Suzian Mukhtar
Banking & EPF litigation lawyer
Suzian earned her Bachelor of Law (Hons) Degree from MARA University of Technology (UiTM) in 2003. After being admitted to the Malaysian Bar on April 19, 2006, following her chambers experience with Messrs. Zamani Ibrahim Tarmizan & Co, she continued her legal journey with us. Since April 14, 2008, she has been contributing her expertise in General and Banking Litigation matters.
Shafrin Halim

Shafrin Halim graduated with LL.B (Hons) from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 2009 and started his legal career in February 2010 at a boutique law firm in Kuala Lumpur. In 2015, he was awarded the Chevening Scholarship by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office to pursue a Master’s in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College London. Upon completion of his Masters, he returned to practice in Halim & Ismail, Seremban. He is currently an Associate in the firm and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Syazwan Halim

Syazwan graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from IIUM in 2015. After reading in chambers at Messrs Krishna Dallumah, Manian & Indran, he was admitted to the Malaysian Bar on January 21, 2016. Joining us on February 1, 2016, he specializes in litigation and conveyancing. After a tenure at Messrs. Syed Alwi, Ng & Co, Kuala Lumpur he returned to Messrs. Halim & Ismail on August 1, 2019. He is currently an Associate at the firm.
Ahmad Affendi Nasir
Banking & Convenyancing Lawyer
Graduating with an LL.B from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), he read in chambers with Messrs Zain Ahmad & Associates, Kuala Lumpur. He continued there after being admitted to the Malaysian Bar in August 2017, focusing on banking litigation and conveyancing. In 2019, he earned a Master’s in Information Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM). After a stint at Messrs Adlizan Hatman & Maizal, Batu Caves, Selangor, he returned to Seremban, handling diverse conveyancing matters, real estate, banking, and finance-related agreements with a wealth of experience.
Ainaa Shehnaz Sidek

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (LL.B) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2021. Upon graduation, she kicked-off her legal career as a pupil in chamber under the tutelage of Cik Suzian Mukhtar at Messrs. Halim & Ismail. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in April 2022 and later retained as an Associate at Messrs. Halim & Ismail. Currently, she is actively handling contentious general litigation matters and non-contentious civil matters.
